Understand Your Body Type

Hey! I wanted to write this because a lot of people ask me:“My friend lost a lot of weight doing this... why doesn’t it work for me?”And my answer is always the same: Because we are all different.


Today, everyone on Instagram or TikTok is saying “Eat like me, train like me, and you’ll look like me.”But that’s not true.


Some people have fast metabolism. Some have more curves. Some gain muscle fast. Some don’t. We all have different body types and that’s okay.


Know Your Body Type

There are 3 main body types. Knowing yours can help you eat and train better for YOUR  body:


1. Ectomorph

You’re naturally slim. It’s hard to gain weight or muscle.

  • Food: Eat more often. Add things like nuts, rice, meat, oats, avocado. Don’t skip carbs!

  • Workout: Lift weights, not too much cardio.


2. Mesomorph

You gain muscle easily and lose fat fast.

  • Food: Balanced meals—protein, veggies, carbs, and fats.

  • Workout: Mix weights and cardio. Your body reacts fast.


3. Endomorph

You gain fat easily and have a softer shape.

  • Food: Eat more protein and veggies. Carbs only around training.

  • Workout: Combine weight training and cardio. Be consistent.

Be You! Not Someone Else

Please don’t follow diets or workouts just because they worked for someone else.They are not you. Your body is different and that’s okay.


You don’t need to be like someone else. You just need to understand your body, and take care of it the right way.
